This coming Friday, November 22nd 2024, we will be presenting the latest developments in construction solutions for pitched roofs at the Technical College of Architects of Alicante.
The conference will bring together companies that will present innovative solutions focused on efficiency, control and sustainability. The improvement of the building envelope will be discussed, including insulation, ventilation and solar collection systems on sloping roofs. It will also look at aerothermal energy as an efficient alternative for heating and hot water, applicable to both new construction and renovation. Finally, the integral control of building systems to maximise energy efficiency will be addressed. This conference is key to making progress towards more sustainable and responsible homes for the future.

During the conference, innovative solutions for the design of efficient envelopes and connected homes will be presented. Firstly, the advantages of pitched roofs will be addressed, highlighting how to improve watertightness and rainwater drainage, complying with ceramic tile installation regulations and, at the same time, integrating solar collection systems to optimise energy efficiency.
Next, we will explore the possibilities of aerothermal energy in the renovation of dwellings. This technology makes it possible to replace conventional boilers with more sustainable energy systems, both for high and low temperature installations, improving efficiency in heating and domestic hot water (DHW). In addition, success stories and resources will be presented to help professionals integrate this solution into their architectural projects, with a focus on reducing CO2 emissions.
Finally, the creation of smart homes will be explored in depth, addressing how wireless control systems can contribute to energy efficiency. The connectivity solutions available, such as the Simon 100 and 270 series, which allow the home to be easily managed through mobile applications, will be presented, showing practical examples of implementation to transform any home into a more efficient and connected space.
